What We Do
At iSpeak Therapy Services, we are dedicated to working with your child’s pediatrician, medical team and/or school personnel if needed. All children receive a full initial evaluation which includes a standardized assessment and informal observation which assist in the determination of eligibility for services and are useful for goal recommendations. All therapeutic intervention is provided in an intensive manner which as is determined by ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologists.

A. Lynn McKenzie, MS, CCC-SLP, Owner
Lynn has been a certified and practicing speech/language pathologist for 16 years and brings her vast experience, continuing education, and passion for children together for a result-oriented therapeutic experience.Her Experience includes providing speech and language therapy to children in a variety of settings who have been diagnosed with Articulation Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders, Auditory Processing Disorders and Hearing Impairments just to name a few. When Lynn is not working, you will find her enjoying time with her family.

Madeline received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of South Florida. She has a background working in pediatrics in private therapy clinics as well as preschools and elementary schools. Madeline enjoys working with children of all ages who have a variety of speech, language, and developmental disorders. She has a special passion for working with children on the autism spectrum as well as educating caregivers and advocating for clients’ needs. Madeline is a life-long learner and continues to expand her knowledge and implementation of neurodiversity-affirming practices as well as understanding the sensory needs of her clients. What she enjoys most about the private practice setting is the ability to develop a working relationship with the whole family, partnering together to make an impact in a child’s life. In her spare time, Madeline enjoys getting outdoors, yoga, jogging and going to coffee shops, as well as spending time with family and friends. She is originally from Panama City Beach, Florida.

Andrea Merrill-Smidt, OTR/L
Andrea Merrill-Smidt received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from Georgia State University. She has experience working in outpatient pediatric clinics with children who have developmental delays, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other physical and developmental challenges. She also worked at a private school with autistic students. Andrea believes in getting to know a child holistically and understanding what they need to thrive and succeed in life, supporting the needs in gross and fine motor, sensory systems, visual perceptual skills and in the areas of daily living. Andrea strives to be a neurodiversity-affirming practitioner.
